Data & Analytics project where we develop analytical reports for business users to drive strategic initiatives, optimize processes, and enhance overall performance. The project focused on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. Responsibilities: -> Developed and enhanced Data & Analytics reports in SAS EG, extracted and processed data from various sources like Hadoop(Hive), Teradata, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and Flat files. -> Interacted and coordinated with client’s to understand the requirements/enhancements and estimate the efforts needed from Offshore for Development. -> Developed comprehensive reports using SAS procedures such as PROC REPORT, PROC EXPORT, PROC FREQ, PROC PRINT, and PROC TRANSPOSE. -> Reverse engineered and rebuilt SAS programs based on new business requirements, ensuring alignment with updated objectives and enhancing program efficiency. -> Automated the request processing system using SAS & ESP scheduler and ensuring smooth and issue-free operation. -> Re-engineered SQL queries to improve the query performance and efficiency. -> Managed the migration of Data & Analytical processes from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and minimal disruption to business operations. -> Productionized reports in ESP Job Scheduler to execute on Schedule basis. -> Played a key role in migration of existing Data Analysis reports from SAS to Python. -> Performed Data Cleaning, Data Transformations, Excel manipulations, File handling, Logs, Exception Handling & Database connectivity using Python. -> Mentored existing and newly joined team members and trained them in the project. Key Achievements: -> Handled a team of 4 members on delivering the reports meeting the deadlines without any delay. -> Re-engineered the existing SAS programs to support parallel execution and schedule via ESP to improve the efficiency and achieve E2E automation. -> Automated reporting templates, thus achieving 85% of reduction in preparation time of Standard and Ad-hoc Reports. -> Recognized for design and development Excel reports using Python within the stringent timelines.
